Tracking Shifts and Staff with the Time Card View π
Managing your teamβs schedule and staying in touch with your staff has never been easier! The Time Card view in NX Mobile acts as your digital clipboard for everything related to your workforce. Whether you need to see who is currently in the kitchen or find a server's phone number to cover a shift, itβs all right here.
π± Navigating the Time Card Tabs
You can access this screen by tapping the Time Clock tile on your Venue Dashboard or the Shifts icon in the bottom navigation bar. Once inside, you can toggle between these helpful views:
All: A complete list of everyone who has worked or is scheduled for the day.
Clocked: See exactly who is currently "on the clock" and actively working.
Overtime: Keep labor costs in check by seeing which team members have crossed into overtime hours.
Roster: Your venue's digital phonebook! This tab lists all employees, their roles, and their contact information.

π Contacting Your Team via the Roster
The Roster tab is designed for quick communication. Here is how it works:
Find the Employee: Scroll through the list or use the Search Bar at the top to find a specific staff member.
One-Touch Communication: If a phone number is listed, simply tap the number to immediately initiate a phone call or text message from your device.
Check Next Shifts: For venues using NX Shifts, you can see each person's "Next Shift" directly under their name, making it easy to plan ahead.
π Drilling Down into Individual Time Cards
Tap any employee's name to view their specific Shift Details. This view is broken down into three sections to give you a full picture of their day:
Punch: View exact clock-in/out times, total hours worked, and any overtime accrued.
Pay: Review the calculated labor cost for that specific shift, including daily salary or hourly wages.
Tips: A detailed breakdown of the employee's earnings, including Card Tips, Cash Tips, and total Tips Declared.

Use the Overtime tab during busy shifts to see who is approaching their hour limits. This allows you to make smart staffing adjustments in real-time to keep your labor percentage healthy! π

Why is an employee's contact info missing?
If a phone number or email isn't appearing in the Roster, it means it hasn't been entered into their profile in the NX Back Office. Update their employee file there, and it will sync to your mobile app! π οΈ
I can't see the "Next Shift" info.
The "Next Shift" feature requires your venue to be actively using the NX Shifts module. If you're interested in adding scheduling to your stack, contact your NX representative! ποΈ
The hours on a time card look wrong.
Managers can edit time cards directly through the NX POS terminal or Back Office. Once an edit is saved there, pull down on the list in the mobile app to refresh and see the corrected hours. π
