Ever need to look up a specific check or check on an active table from your phone? The Orders view in NX Mobile gives you a complete, searchable history of every transaction at your venue. Whether you are investigating a guest's question or just keeping an eye on the lunch rush, the information you need is just a tap away! ๐
๐ฑ Navigating Your Orders
You can reach this screen by tapping the Orders tile on your Venue Dashboard. Once there, you can easily manage and view your sales activity:
Switch Between All, Open, and Closed: Use the tabs at the top to filter your view.
Open: See active tables and checks currently being served.
Closed: Review completed transactions and settled bills.
Search and Find: Use the Search Bar to quickly find a specific order by its number or guest name.
Sort for Clarity: Tap the Sort Icon ๐ in the top right to organize orders by time or amount.
Quick Summary: Each order card shows you the Order #, Server Name, Open/Close Times, and the Total Amount.
๐ Drilling Down into a Check
Tap any individual order to see a full digital "receipt" and back-of-house details. Within an order, you can toggle between four detailed tabs:
Items: See exactly what was ordered, down to the seat number. It even shows specific Discounts applied to individual items, like an "Employee 30%" off.
Payments: View how the bill was settled. This includes the card type (e.g., Visa), the last four digits of the account, the authorization code, and the Tip amount.
Customer: Access guest information if the order was attached to a loyalty profile or specific customer account.
Discounts: A dedicated view of all price adjustments and promotions applied to the entire check.

๐ก Pro-Tip: Real-Time Monitoring
The Open Orders tab is a fantastic tool for managers to see how long tables have been sat. If you see an order that has been open for a long time without being closed, it might be a great time to check in with the server or visit the table for a "table touch"! ๐โจ

Why can't I see orders from yesterday?
The view defaults to the current date. Tap the Date Bar ๐๏ธ at the top of the screen to select a previous day and view past order history.
The payment shows $0.00 but items are listed.
This usually happens if the order was a "Comp" (fully discounted) or if it is an active Open order that hasn't been paid for yet. Check the Discounts tab to see if the total was reduced to zero.
I can't find an order.
Ensure you are in the correct tab (Open vs. Closed). If you still can't find it, try searching for the server's name to see all checks associated with them for that day.
