If you find that the on-screen alerts are cluttering a specific terminal (like an office computer or a standalone bar device), NX Restaurant allows you to quickly turn off the visual indicators for that specific hardware.
This guide will show you how to hide the Notification Center indicator on a per-device level in just a few simple steps.
🛠️ Step-by-Step: Hiding the Notification Center
Because this setting is managed at the device level, you can customize your preferences for each individual terminal in your building without changing how the rest of your system behaves!
Log into the NX Portal: Open your back-office portal on your web browser. 🌐
Navigate to Devices: Look at the left-hand navigation menu. Click on the Venue dropdown, select Devices, and then click on POS Devices. 📱
Select Your Device: Click on the specific terminal you wish to edit from your device list (for example, your office computer or a specific station).
Locate Device Settings: Make sure you are on the Settings tab at the top of the device management page. ⚙️
Toggle the Switch: Scroll down to the middle of the screen until you see the Hide Notification Center section. Click the toggle switch to turn it on (it will slide over to indicate it is active). 🔘
Save Your Changes: Click the black Save button in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen to push the update to your terminal! 💾

Nope! This configuration operates strictly on a per-device level. Toggling this option on for one screen will leave the Notification Center indicator active on all of your other active floor terminals.
