Adjusting the Quantity of Menu Items Rang on an Order in NX Restaurant

In NX Restaurant, servers can quickly adjust the quantity of a menu item before saving it to the order. This helps avoid ringing in the same item multiple times and ensures the correct number of items is sent to the kitchen.

1. When to Adjust Quantity

• Quantity adjustments must be made before the item is saved to the order.

• Once an item is saved, it cannot be edited—any changes would require voiding and re-ringing or just simply ringing additional items.

2. How to Adjust the Quantity

Step 1: Ring the Item

• Tap a menu item to add it to the order.

Step 2: Select the Item

• Long press the item in the order list to highlight it.

Step 3: Tap the Quantity Button

• Tap the Quantity command button in the Options.

Step 4: Enter the Desired Quantity

• A keypad will appear.

• Enter the new quantity and tap Enter.

Step 5: Save the Order

• Once all items and quantities are correct, tap Save to finalize the order.
