🎯 Purpose of the Feature
In busy service environments, items are sometimes added to the wrong seat or need to be rearranged when guests change places.
The Move to Seat feature allows you to reassign items between seats on the same order — improving flexibility and accuracy in both service and reporting.
⚙️ How It Works
With Move to Seat, you can move one or more items from one seat to another — even to a brand new seat — all directly within the order screen.
🪄 Steps to Use zove to Seat
- Open the Order
Navigate to the order that contains the items you want to move. - Select the Item(s)
Tap to select one or multiple items you wish to move.
💡 Tip: You can select several items at once to move them together. - Tap “Move to Seat”
Once your items are selected, tap the Move to Seat button. - Choose the Destination
You’ll be prompted to select where you want to move the items:
Existing Seat — Choose from any current seat on the order.
New Seat — Select this option to create a brand-new seat automatically. - Confirm the Move
The items will be immediately transferred to the selected seat.
