Managing Orders Using the Order List in NX Restaurant
The Order List in NX Restaurant provides a streamlined way to view and manage all types of orders—open, closed, online, and more. This feature may be the default view depending on the user's job configuration or can be accessed anytime from the Utility Menu in the top right corner.
1. Accessing the Order List

The Order List may automatically display upon login, based on role or job settings.

If not, tap the Utility Menu (top right corner) and select Order List to open it.
2. Navigating the Order List
Order Tabs

The top section of the Order List contains tabs for different order types:

Open Orders – Active, unpaid orders.

Closed Orders – Completed transactions.

Online Orders – Orders placed online.

Third-Party Delivery Orders – Typically shown with a truck icon (not always visible).

Search – Search current day or previous days for specific orders.

Previewing an Order

Tap once on any order in the list to preview its details on the right-hand side of the screen.
Pay or Print a Previewed Order

Use the Pay or Print buttons in the bottom right corner to complete payment or print a guest receipt for the highlighted order.
Opening an Order for Editing

After highlighting an order, tap it a second time to fully open it for viewing, editing, or adding items.
3. Summary

Use the Order List to manage all types of orders in one place.

Preview, print, or pay without opening the order.

Tap again to fully open the order for edits or further action.

Access from the Utility Menu or as a default view based on job role.
