This guide explains how to transfer tables in NX Restaurant using the Floor Plan. Transfers can be done to move an active table to an inactive table, merge orders between active tables, or handle split checks when merging orders.

-
Select Transfer Order.
Step 3: Select the Destination Table
-
Choose an inactive table (one that does not currently have an order).
-
Confirm the transfer.
-
The order will now be assigned to the new table.
2. Transferring an Order to an Active Table (Merging Orders)

-
Open the Floor Plan.

Identify the table with the existing order and the table where the order should be transferred.
Step 2: Initiate the Merge

-
Choose the destination table, which is already in use.
Step 3: Confirm the Merge

The system will confirm that the orders are being combined.
-
Once confirmed, all items from the first table will be merged into the existing order at the second table.
3. Handling Split Checks When Merging Orders
Step 1: Merging Orders with Existing Splits
-
If the order being transferred is already split, the system will prompt a choice:
-
Create a New Split โ This keeps the transferred order as a separate split.
-
Combine onto the First Split โ This merges the items into the existing split check.
-
Step 2: Select the Preferred Option
-
Tap the desired option based on how the venue handles split checks.
-
Confirm the selection, and the system will update the order accordingly.
