Understanding the Device Info Area in NX Restaurant

The Device Info area in NX Restaurant POS provides important system details and settings. It can be accessed by tapping the Cloud Icon in the top right corner of the screen. This section contains multiple tabs with device, printer, payment, and system information.

1. Accessing the Device Info Area

Step 1: Open the Device Info Panel

Tap the Cloud Icon in the top right corner of the screen.
The Device Info panel will appear with multiple tabs.

2. Tabs and Their Functions

The Device Info panel contains four key tabs:

Tab 1: Device Information

This tab displays essential details about the POS device, including:

App Version – The version of NX Restaurant currently running.
Device Name & ID – Identifies the POS station.
Model Information – Shows the hardware details of the device.
Battery Level – Displays the current battery percentage.
Connectivity Status – Indicates the internet connection status.
Subscription Status – Shows the active subscription linked to the device.

Available Actions

Reload App – Refreshes the application without restarting the device.
Change Device Mode – Allows switching between different operational modes.
Access Android Device Settings – Opens system settings for troubleshooting.
- Note: This is where you can edit network or WiFi settings.

Tab 2: Receipt Printer Information

This tab provides details about the receipt printer connected to the POS device, such as:

Printer Model & Status – Indicates if the printer is connected and operational.
Connectivity Type – Shows whether the printer is connected via Bluetooth, USB, or network.

Tab 3: Credit Card Processing Information

This tab displays information related to payment processing, including:

Merchant Account Information – Shows the active payment processor account.
EMV Card Reader Details – Identifies the attached card reader and its status.

Tab 4: System Alerts & Functions

This tab provides important system notifications and processing settings:

Offline Processing Mode – Indicates whether transactions can be processed offline.
System Alerts – Displays notifications related to connectivity or operational issues.

The Device Info area in NX Restaurant POS helps operators quickly access critical device and payment details. It also provides troubleshooting tools and system alerts.
