How to Switch Between Light and Dark Mode in NX Restaurant

This guide explains how to change the NX Restaurant POS display theme between Light Mode and Dark Mode. The setting is applied on the device and remains until manually changed.

 

 

1. Accessing the Device Settings

Step 1: Open Device Info

  • Tap on the Cloud Icon located in the top right corner of the screen.

  • This will open the Device Info screen, where various system settings are available.

2. Changing the Display Mode

Step 1: Locate the Display Mode Toggle

  • In the Device Info screen, find the setting labeled Light/Dark Mode.

Step 2: Toggle Between Light and Dark Mode

  • Tap the toggle switch to switch between Light Mode and Dark Mode.

  • The change will be applied immediately.

Step 3: Confirm the Change

  • The selected mode will remain active until manually changed again.

  • The setting persists even if the device is restarted.

3. Alternative: Setting Display Mode via NX Portal

  • The Light/Dark Mode setting can also be adjusted remotely using the NX Portal.

  • If changed from the NX Portal, the setting will update on the device accordingly.
