Web Orders View in NX Restaurant POS
The Web Orders View in NX Restaurant POS provides a centralized dashboard where staff can monitor and manage all incoming online orders and third-party delivery orders. This helps ensure timely preparation, accurate fulfillment, and smooth handoff to guests or delivery drivers.
Accessing the Web Orders View
To access the Web Orders View:
- Tap the utility menu icon (three stacked lines) located in the top right corner of the POS screen.
- Select Web Orders from the menu options.
This opens the full list of incoming online and delivery orders.
Order Cards
Incoming online orders appear as individual order cards, each displaying:
- Order number
- Guest name (when available)
- Complete item list with modifiers
- Pricing and balance due
Cards update in real time as new orders are received.
Tabs for Filtering Orders
Tabs at the top of the Web Orders View allow users to filter the list:
All
Shows every online and delivery order, including fulfilled ones.
Ordering Brand Tabs
Each digital ordering channel has its own tab, such as:
- ChowNow
- DoorDash
- Online Order
- UberEats
Selecting one displays only orders from that brand.
Fulfilled
Shows completed orders that have already been marked fulfilled.
These filters help staff quickly focus on the orders that need action.
Sending an “Order Ready” Text Message
If the guest’s order includes a phone number, the system can send a text message when the order is ready for pickup.
To send the ready notification:
- Tap the order card.
- Tap Ready for Pickup.
- A text message is sent automatically to the guest.
This is especially useful for curbside or timed pickup workflows.
Marking Orders as Fulfilled
After the order has been picked up or collected by a delivery driver, staff should mark it as fulfilled.
To fulfill an order:
- Tap the order card.
- Tap Fulfill.
- The order moves to the Fulfilled tab.
