Naming Seats on an Order in NX Restaurant
In NX Restaurant, orders can be split into multiple Seats using Split Order functionality. Naming these seats helps servers and bartenders keep their tabs organized while maintaining all items under the same table or order.
1. Why Name Seats?
-
Keeps bar or table tabs easily identifiable.
-
Helps servers track individual guests when handling large or shared parties.
-
Seat names display across the POS, making recall and payment quicker.
2. How to Name a Seat
Step 1: Open the Order
-
From the Floor Plan, Tab List, or Order List, open the desired order.
Step 2: Swipe to the Seat You Want to Name

Step 5: Enter a Custom Name

Tap Save or Done to confirm.
Note: You can also update the name of the full order where visible, while still keeping individual seats organized.
3. Editing or Removing a Seat Name
