The NX Restaurant Portal is a web-based interface where enterprise and venue operators can configure and manage their restaurant settings. This guide provides an overview of the portal layout and the tools available depending on your access level.
Enterprise vs. Venue Access
At the top-right corner of the portal, you’ll find a dropdown menu that allows you to select an Enterprise or a specific Venue.
- Enterprise Level: Selecting an enterprise gives you access to shared configurations that apply across multiple venues. These include:
- Menu management
- Job permissions
- Branding
- Other global settings
- Venue Level: Selecting a specific venue allows you to manage configurations for that single location. These settings typically include:
- Venue hours
- Payment settings
- Online links
- Localized operational preferences
✅ Your access level determines what options you can see or modify. Users with both levels can easily switch between them using the dropdown.
User Account Controls
The user’s name appears in the top-right corner. Clicking it reveals options such as:
- Account details
- Log out
Left-Hand Navigation Menu
The primary navigation panel is located along the left side of the screen. The options in this menu will vary depending on:
- Your permission level
- Whether you’re viewing at the enterprise or venue level
Common Venue-Level Sections:
- Dashboard: An overview of key metrics and alerts for the selected venue.
- Venue: Settings related to the individual location such as contact info, hours of operation, and device settings.
- Configuration: Houses various configurable settings, including:
- Menus (can be enterprise-shared)
- Tax settings
- Discounts and surcharges
- Customer Service: Tools and logs related to guest experiences and staff feedback.
- Financial: Includes payment setups, accounting exports, and financial reporting tools.
- Orders: Open/closed ticket views, and other related functions.
