Partner Dealers can configure NX15 & NX22 POS Devices to automatically power on by changing a jumper on the devices main board.
All NX15 & NX22 devices shipped after 7/1/2025 will have this setting automatically enabled.
Steps:
- Remove the power cord and any other cabling connected to the NX Device.
- Remove the Compute Module from the Screen via the screws on the back of the NX Device.
- Locate the JP1 jumper set on the Compute Module
- Set the jumper so that pins 3 & 4 are jumped
- Reattach the Compute Module to the Screen and attach the power cord.
- The NX Device should now automatically power on, and will power on automatically in the event of a power loss.
