Never Miss a Payment: How to Update Your Card on File in NX Restaurant 💳✨
Keeping your payment details up to date ensures your NX Restaurant software service stays active without interruption! Whether you are switching to a new corporate credit card, updating an expired expiration date, or adding a secondary backup card, you can manage your payment methods directly in the manager portal in just a few clicks.
This guide walks you through adding a new credit card, setting it as your default payment method, or removing old payment details.
Why Keep Your Card on File Updated? 🤔
Your account subscription covers your active POS devices, software modules, and system features. Updating your payment information ahead of time helps you:
- 🚫 Avoid Service Interruptions: Prevent account holds or failed payments on your next billing date.
- ⚡ Speed Up Renewal Billing: Automatically charge recurring subscription fees to your preferred card.
- 📄 Track Invoices Easily: Keep accurate records under your Invoice History tab.
Step-by-Step: Adding a New Credit Card ⚙️
Adding a new payment method to your NX Restaurant account takes less than two minutes!
- Navigate to Subscriptions 📍In the left navigation menu, expand Subscription & Billing and select Subscriptions.
- Open the Add Payment Method Menu ➕Scroll down to the Payment Methods section and click the Add Payment Method button.
- Enter Your Card Details 📝In the pop-up modal, select the Card tab and enter your payment information:
- Card Number: Your 16-digit debit or credit card number.
- Expiration Date: The expiration month and year (
MM / YY). - Security Code (CVC): The 3- or 4-digit security code on the back/front of your card.
- Country & ZIP Code: The billing country and postal code registered to the card.
- Submit & Save 💾Click the dark Submit button at the bottom of the pop-up window. Your new card will now appear under your list of Payment Methods!
Managing Your Saved Payment Methods 🛠️
Once you have added multiple payment options, you can easily change your default card or delete old cards:
- Set as Default Card: Next to the card you wish to use for primary billing, click the Star icon. Once selected, a green Default badge will appear next to the card name.
- Remove an Old Card: To delete an expired or unused card, click the Trash Can icon next to that card listing.
