Configuring Menu Items: The Modifiers Tab in the NX Restaurant Portal
The Modifiers tab in the Menus > Items section of the NX Restaurant portal allows you to attach Modifier Categories to a menu item. This enables additional selections to be prompted during order entry, such as side options, cooking preferences, or toppings.
How to Access the Modifiers Tab
In the NX Restaurant portal, navigate to Configuration > Menus > Items. Select an existing menu item or create a new one. Click the Modifiers tab in the item editor.
Note: Before assigning modifiers to an item, make sure your Modifier Categories are already configured in Configuration > Menus > Modifiers > Modifier Categories.
