Modifiers allow customizations and option selections to be rang on a Menu Item. Modifiers can be configured for menu items that offer additional selections such as cheese types, protein options, add-ons, and dietary restrictions.
To add menu item modifiers to a new menu item
- From the New Menu Item page, click Modifiers.
- Click Add Modifiers for each desired item modification selection that is available to the customer.
- Use the Category drop-down menu to select a previously configured Modifier Category.
- In the Min textbox, type the minimum number of selections the customer should choose from the modifier category choices.
- In the Max textbox, type the maximum number of modification choices the customer can select.
- Use the up and down arrows to sort the order in which the modifications are prompted for selection.
- In the Free textbox, type the number indicating how many modifiers are free of charge. Any additional selections the customers make are added to the price as an extra cost.
- (Optional) Click the Auto-Progress slider to automatically progress to the next modifier options when the Min/Max requirements are met. If there are no other categories, then the modification screen will close.
