Fees are surcharges “added” to a Seat on an Order based upon configuration dedicated by the Venue in NX Restaurant.
For example:
- A Venue may elect to charge a surcharge for payment made by credit card.
- A Venue may charge a fee for certain Order Types such as delivery.
- A Venue may add an ad-hoc fee to a Seat based on an event occurring on the Seat such as a private dining room rental. These can be added from the Order Utility Menu when you have an Order open.
Fees can be preset percentages or dollar amounts, or can be configured to prompt the user for an amount. Not all users can apply a Fee. There are Permissions for both being able to add and adjust Fees on an Order.
