Price Points are defined and named price options that can be linked to one or multiple Menu Items in NX Restaurant. Multiple price points can be assigned to a menu item and the price can be invoked by configuring the Price Point to prompt or be dictated by Menu Category and/or Area. Price Points can also have a Time Range attached to restrict when the price is active or can be used.
Common uses of Price Points are for prompting a size choice, for example a glass of wine vs a bottle of wine, or timed pricing such as a happy hour. But in reality it can be used for any pricing variation that may need to be invoked either by how the order is placed, time of day, or via prompting the person ordering.
